Ariana Grande, 28, is one of the most iconic international pop stars of her generation. In 2020, Forbes reported that the singer had a net worth of $72 million, she was the highest-paid female artist on their Celebrity 100 list.
Grande began interested in music after starring in various musicals at the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater. In 2009, she was cast as the lead in Nickelodeon’s Victorious where she gained notoriety as a teenage star. When the show ended in 2014, she began to focus on her music career working with many industry leaders including Nicki Minaj, the Weekend, and Mac Miller.
Grande has won over one hundred and seventy awards, including two Grammy’s, from her six studio albums and musical collaborations. She also holds the title of most-streamed female artist on both Spotify and Apple Music.
In 2021, Grande released her first line of cosmetic products, REM Beauty.
However, her start beauty industry began in 2015 when she partnered with Luxe Brands to release her first perfume Ari, by Ariana Grande. Since then she has released seven more fragrances, some of which have gone on to win Fragrance Foundation Awards. From 2015 to 2021, her fragrances brought in $750 million in sales.
She has also partnered with many brands including Coach, MAC Cosmetics, Reebok, and Starbucks. Grande’s music videos have also featured products from Beats, Fiat, Guess, Reebok, and Samsung.
Ariana Grande has signed on to become the latest judge on The Voice, replacing Adam Levine. Yahoo Finance reported that the pop star will make between twenty and twenty-five million dollars per season she participates, making her the highest-paid coach contracted for the show.
This holiday season many saw Grande make her major cinematic debut playing pop star Riley Bina on Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up.
One of Grande’s largest philanthropic ventures camera after the tragic Manchester suicide bombing which occurred after one of her shows. Hundreds were injured and over twenty people died, many of whom were young fans who had attended the show.
A little under two weeks after the attack, Grande hosted One Love Manchester where she shared the stage with musical guests including Justin Bieber, the Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay Miley Cyrus, Mac Miller, Katy Perry, and Pharrell Williams. The benefit show raised over $20 million dollars for the victims of the bombing and their families.
Through her collaboration with MAC Cosmetics in 2016, she launched a line of products where all profits were donated to the MAC Aids Fund.
